Enough and more has been explored about Gujarat, making it famous and accessible to the world. But, even with all its fame and glory, the state boasts of old towns, a variety of architecture styles and lesser-known temples. While many of the spots fall under world heritage sites, people have seldom heard of them, making them the lesser-known popular spots in Gujarat.

Tourism is Gujarat’s strong suit - hence everybody has seen most and knows everything about the state’s structures. But, even then, stepwells go unnoticed and details like that of the Laxmi Vilas and Hutheesing Temple are unheard of. The state has some spots and buildings that are lesser known to the masses. One such spot is the shipbuilding yard in Madvi, located an hour away from Bhuj. While the Great Rann of Kutch is celebrated all over the globe, the Little Rann is home to India’s largest wildlife sanctuary dedicated to wild asses. The Saputara is a refreshing hill destination with a beautiful botanical garden and attractions like a ropeway and boating.
