Indonesia is replete with natural beauty, untouched islands, medieval temples, quiet beaches, and architectural heritage. With over 17,000 islands, some inhabited some not, it offers most diverse experiences to the travellers – from national parks to high streets, from jungle safaris to temple towns, everything you may ever want to see, you’d find here.

Indonesia is home to a host of heritage and adventure sites. The country is rich in tropical rain forests and diverse wildlife. Diving, trekking, hiking, biking, forest trails and dragon islands - together these make Indonesia a great place to spend a long holiday in.

You could begin with a trip to the morning floating markets or by climbing an active volcano and trekking around the crater. Mt. Batur, a little off Bali, is a sacred Hindu peak 1,717 m above sea level and if you are fit, you could reach the peak in just two hours. If you prefer wildlife to nature though, Komodo Island has to be on your list. World’s only island with over 5,000 of these giant Lizards (one can be as big as 3 meters), the island is sure to test your grit. Monkey forest meanwhile could be simpler. With views of some of the country’s most beautiful forest, traditional bridges and of course the long-tailed monkeys.
