One of the most beautiful countries on earth, Norway is much larger than the sum of its parts. National Parks, Fjords, Museums, Sculptors, City Parks, Hiking Trails, Northern Lights – the country has all this and more.
Norwegian fjords are steep and jagged. Bordering the ocean, they cut into the land and create an unparalleled landscape. Not very far from the Fjords is the Arctic Circle, officially the coldest area inhabited by man. Then there are the lights – green, blue, golden – swirling in the night sky, dancing on a bed of stars. Norway, the land of Vikings and sardines, is a country unlike any other.
Trekking the highest peaks in Jotunheimen National Park and Geiranger Fjord are fun activities for those who like adventure;for those who like to take it easy there are the swings in the Fjords. That you’d have to climb over a mountain or cross a sea to reach the swing is another matter altogether. The highlight of the country however remain the Northern Lights – if you can manage to see them, you have seen everything.
