A popularly known fact, Kashmir does not have several pubs, bars or clubs. People usually curl up at home in the evenings and relax with a cup of rich coffee or hot chocolate. It is common for restaurants and shops to shut early in the evening, thereby leading to an absence of nightlife as opposed to big cities. Catch a movie in the evenings at one of the few movie theaters. Kashmir may not have many bars or pubs, but it has several restaurants, fast-food joints and cafes.
