Head to the Mullick Ghat to get a lit-up night view of the famous Howrah bridge. Or rent a boat or hop onto a ferry to sail through the waters of the Hooghly River, right under the magnificent bridge.
Kolkata
Kolkata’s nightlife resides in its bars and clubs. Perfect Place In Town offers a huge dance floor along delicious cocktails and great views of the city. The Backstage plays music from the disco era along with rock music served with a side of excellent drinks.
Darjeeling Sunset
Watch the sunset over Darjeeling’s tea plantations while enjoying some aromatic tea and baked treats. Sunset Lounge offers some beautiful views as does Glenary’s.
Belur Math
Hop on to an evening cruise that sails over the Hooghly and goes straight to Belur Math which is located on the west bank of the river.
Live Music
Even with pubs and bars, Kolkata also has a live music scene. Head over to Calcutta School of Music for their Friday night cultural programs or to the city’s rock music venue Someplace Else. The latter is located inside Park Street Hotel and hosts local bands.
